The “Neo” in Stay with Neo

Meet Neo

Neo is my easygoing, well-trained White Swiss Shepherd (Berger Blanc Suisse) and the official greeter here. He's been by my side since April 2020, he's trained to a service-dog level, and he's a seasoned travel companion who has joined me on adventures around the world.

He's confident, curious, and happiest simply being part of the group. Neo is friendly with dogs and cats, communicates well with other dogs and prefers to avoid conflict, which makes him a calm, reassuring buddy for new guests while they settle in.

His favorite things? Playing Frisbee, chewing his ball, sniffing out hidden treats, digging in approved spots, and long, leisurely walks. 🐾

About Nicole

A trainer's experience, a dog lover's heart

Hi, I'm Nicole! I'm a certified dog trainer with a lifelong passion for animals. I spent over a year working in an animal shelter, handling hundreds of dogs with every kind of personality and need, and I professionally trained dogs and ran a dog rescue in Okinawa, Japan for a year and a half.

I know your pets are family, and I treat them like part of mine. I study from home, so my flexible schedule means your dog gets attention, companionship, and care all day long, not just a quick check-in.

Rescue work

From Okinawa, with love

I professionally trained dogs and ran a dog rescue organization in Okinawa, Japan for a year and a half, rehabilitating pups and matching them with their forever families.

That work taught me how to read every kind of dog: shy, bouncy, anxious, or brand-new to the world. The same patience and care go into every dog who stays with me.

FAQ

Questions pet parents ask

Do you meet my dog before booking?

Yes. I always do a free meet & greet first so your dog can get comfortable with me, my home, and my dog Neo.

What areas do you serve?

Douglas County, including Parker, Castle Rock, Castle Pines, and Highlands Ranch. Boarding and day care are at my home in Parker's Antelope Heights neighborhood, near Gold Rush Elementary; drop-in visits come to you. Not sure if you're in range? Just ask!

Can you handle reactive or anxious dogs?

As a certified trainer and former shelter enrichment coordinator, I've worked with hundreds of dogs. Tell me about triggers, reactivity, or resource guarding up front and we'll make a plan together.

Can you give medication?

Yes. I'm comfortable with oral and injected medications and have experience with senior and special-needs dogs.

How many dogs do you host at once?

I keep it small and supervised — up to 5 pets at a time, so every dog gets real attention.

What do I need to bring?

Food, any meds, leash/harness, and a favorite toy or blanket that smells like home. Please have current vaccination records ready.
